’s been only a few days here at MDI but there is a sense of belongingness. I waited a long time to be here and was very excited and also very nervous as I have never been a part of hostel life. A usual day is filled with classes, assignments, projects with strict deadlines which sometimes get to your nerves and you feel lost. But the fellow students and seniors are so supportive and warm they pull you out of that frustrating phase and guide you in the right direction. It
’s not only about studies here at MDI one gets ample opportunities regularly to showcase your other talents be it the creative aspects, sports or other extra-curricular activities. One of the highlighting experience of my stay here at MDI till date is the sports event KOK (King of Kings). It brought the whole of the batch together and provided the opportunity to interact and bond with each other. I also got the opportunity to be a part of the organizing committee for cricket. Team management, team building, scheduling, planning are some of the key learnings from the event and also not to mention the social connect with other batch mates.

I have always visualized myself taking positions of strategic planning and analysis wherein I have to take into consideration and study the market psyche and customer habits which constitutes of people from all segments of the society. With increasing income and the younger generation more considerate of the fashion sense there is huge unreserved potential which will help the company grow. Being a customer myself I am highly satisfied by the quality of service and products and would be a great opportunity to be a part of such a culture where quality of product and customer satisfaction are of prime importance.
