Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In My Life
Aditya Birla Group is one of India's largest conglomerates with a US $44.3 billion corporation; the company is in the League of Fortune 500. It has demonstrated capabilities in various sectors from textiles, metals, carbon black, telecom, and cement to financial services. Brands like Louis Philippe, Forever 21, Van Heusen, Idea Cellular, Allen Solly, Peter England, Ultra Tech Cement, Birla Sun Life Insurance and Birla Sun Life are some of the AB Group’s products which have been preferred by customers all across the world. I never realized that AB Group had played a significant role in my life, too until I sat down to write this article. While reminiscing memories, I realized that my family and I switched to AB Group’s products whenever there was a change which made our lives better. My father bought Ultra Tech Cement when we decided to shift in our home from a rented apartment. We started shopping from Pantaloons instead of the small shops near my house in Lucknow when my sister got her first salary. From then Pantaloons is our hub where every member of my family goes for shopping. I felt a sense of freedom when I got my first mobile phone with an Idea sim card. I bought my first formal wear from Van Heusen when I appeared for the first interview of my life. Since then, I chose to purchase formal wear from Van Heusen and Allen Solly. It’s indeed said, "
It's the little things that make happy moments." And AB Group has been the constant which has provided big happiness from small things to my family and me.
How Have I Made An Impact
I have been brought up in a family which has taught me that to achieve anything in your life; you have to do hard work. There is no alternative to it. The younger me thought that I have to set a target, work hard for it, and then move on to another one. At first, it started with competing with my classmates to secure the first position in my class to winning competitions. Following the same motto, I appeared for JEE mains and Advanced. When I couldn’t crack JEE, I felt disappointed and realized that it’s not about winning every competition in your life. It’s about understanding what you want to achieve and facing hardships for it. No matter how many times you fail, you have to get up and work hard to make it. Life will not give you everything in a platter. Later, I gave CAT and got selected in IIM Rohtak where a new journey began. Studying overnight, organizing various events, and most importantly getting a chance to do something for underprivileged children is what IIM Rohtak has provided me. I felt overwhelmed when I got to know that AB Group is involved in impactful, welfare-driven doings in India and globally. AB Group has put smiles on millions of people through its products as well as social service. Providing happiness to people through my services, overcoming problems and facing them with head held high is what I have learned from AB Group, and I wish to continue the same in future.
