My experience so at IIM Udaipur has been phenomenal. Let me put few broad characteristics of this institute which I believe had contributed to my learning and experience.
Culture and Diversity
People come here from all walks of life bringing with them their diverse culture and background. And it’s not only about students, but also about faculties, allies, and students from different countries like Germany, France. I feel privileged to meet a person who is passionate about traveling and brings stories and experiences from around the globe places. Here I had the opportunity to spend some time with people from different lands. And let me tell you, it was a unique experience to have endless discussions on the vast difference in their culture and ours.
Talking about culture one can witness the horizon of life lasting experience right from the welcoming of freshers to the campus, to the farewell graduation party. People of this college make sure no one feels away from home and keep on organizing events and festivals from diametrically opposite parts of India.
Academics
IIM Udaipur is one of its kinds in management colleges in India which emphasizes majorly on research, academic excellence and knowledge development of the students. Placement comes as a result of this objective of the college.
Every single class offers you ample opportunity to learn and gain knowledge. Energetic classroom discussions among knowledge thirsty students and dedicated faculties are something that cannot be explained in mere words. I believe that very soon, this institution will stand out as the epitome of academic excellence.
Platform for multiple activities
This institute has a well-developed platform to pursue any interest, hobby or passion. Be it dance, music, art, photography, literature, biking, trekking or be it entrepreneurial aspirations, there are people and platform to explore, learn and collaborate. Location is the best thing that makes this college unique in India in my opinion. Udaipur (Venice of East) is a culturally and historically rich place. Tourists from every corner of the world keep visiting this city throughout the year. The city, known as the city of lakes, has an old touch of Rajput-era on its streets. The excitement of living in one of the most beautiful cities in India just adds to the overall experience of this college.

If I had an opportunity to join the prestigious ABG group of companies, I would like to go for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. My philosophy of work is taking the job that motivates you every single day to pursue the excellence. I have been an active follower of various lifestyle trends across the different region and different age group of people.
Looking at the millennial and emerging young generation of India there is a diverse set of lifestyle trends picking up as part of the culture. These trends are like yoga, dancing, music, business professionalism, travelers, hippies, etc. Each of these segments is actively involved in creating their own identity. Zooming in these segments will show different clothing trends that are unique across all the segments.
By being part of the Fashion and Retail group of the company I believe that I would be able to align my interest and energy in exploring new horizon of possibilities. Potential growth is unlimited in the fashion and retail industry specifically in India where per capita is on an upward trend and 60% population still resides in rural areas. With my managerial, problem solving and decision making skill, I would be able to contribute organically to the growth of the company.
