Challenges are part and parcel of life. We all face them throughout our journey. Some individuals seem to encounter every challenge with confidence, while others struggle to overcome them. As a co-creator of one’s own truth, one has the skill to prevail over these challenges. It is with this sense of accountability and attentiveness that one can begin his/her journey into a state where challenges are no longer challenges, but opportunities to get a preview of your premier self.
Others can help you reach your own understanding, but no one ever solves your problems for you. The longer you spend searching for guidance outside of yourself, the longer you spend ignoring the challenge. A challenge that I came across during my college days, as a part of the College Website Team, was to provide the website for an event within a days’ time. In a team of six with each of us perplexed with the situation, we started with little hope of completion. But a sense of responsibility prevailed and I gave an input to do it in parts so that every step would motivate us to pursue our final goal. Everyone in the team was motivated to deliver an excellent website and provided extraordinary inputs.
After hours of hard work, we were able to complete the website on time and were praised by seniors for our work. I realized even the most unexpected situation can be handled efficiently if we think constructively and support each other as a team. Challenges help us to become a better version of ourselves and we should not be afraid of them.
Why is Aditya Birla Group big in my life?
Aditya Birla Group, a pioneer, has been a household name since time immemorial. I came across this name when my father, a dealer of Ultratech cement, gave me goodies which had Ultratech imprinted on them. Be it a diary or a pen, I used to cherish every little thing that my dad gave.
Residing in a small town of Srinagar Garhwal, visiting Dehradun was always exciting for me and my brother. Visiting my grandmother during summer breaks was a joy we never missed out on. Wanting to shop, I came across the concept of multi-brand showroom for the first time. It was my aunt who told me about multiple choices being available under a single roof in Pantaloons. I was captivated with the variety of products at my disposal. I bought a Peter England shirt and an Allen Solly trouser that day but still left with a heavy heart as I missed out on a lot of other quality stuff.
As years of joy passed, it was time to prepare for the future. Leaving for Kota to prepare for my JEE, I bought my first mobile number. A child going away from home does take its toll on family members. Idea provided me with connectivity to my parents and friends without any hassle. When the going gets tough it is your dear ones who help you get up and face the challenges. Idea helped me maintain relationships which I value till date. Being connected helped me remain sane as life in Kota proved to be very taxing and hectic. Keeping my mother posted while traveling or mundane updates of my well-being always kept her comforted.
In a fast varying world, Aditya Birla Group has been one of the desired constant in my life.
