If you are someone who sleeps for 8 hours regularly, the thought of sleepless nights during MBA can make anyone sceptical. But here I am, writing this article at 4 in the night or should I call it 4 in the morning, frankly, it doesn’t matter now. Few weeks into MDI, and I have already forgotten what 6 hours of sleep feels like. But I am enjoying it, feeling the changes in me, and equally in my sleep deprived batch mates. MDI is the most happening place, it practically never sleeps. Apart from the academic rigour, our lives here revolve around countless assignments, presentations, projects, clubs, competitions and a plethora of activities to make us involved all the time. And yes we watched Fifa world cup live, cheered together for our favourite teams and players, with the pressure of deadlines on our back of course. That one thing never goes, believe me, but one learns to live with the deadlines.
MDI is known for its academic rigour, but the fun we have is second to none. Late night group meets at Sharma’s, plethora of sports activities, hostel bonding and what not, we manage everything between the deadlines. So, time management, it’s something Mandevians have a strong hold on for sure. And how is life at MDI complete without talking about the batch of 360. Some of the brightest minds who live together, compete together, learn together and become leaders together. The friendships we make here will be some of the most cherished moments of our lives.
So, Is life at MDI tough, yes it is, but we always sail through it. Do you know why?
It is because we never leave anyone of us behind. We fight together, we win together.
