Growing up, Food has always been an important part of my life. I spent my formative years in an industrial township in Odisha where the food options were limited especially in cakes. My sweet tooth compelled me to attempt to make my own sugary creations. I took to baking as a hobby at an early age and it still continues to hold my fancy. Baking and cooking have been a great stress buster for me. Seeing the smiles on peoples’ faces after they have eaten something that I made brings me indescribable joy.

Understanding the food culture of a place can make for a very interesting visit. I always make it a point to try local cuisines. Once you know what is good, and how it is eaten, you can have a great experience. I follow a lot of food blogs and food-based social media accounts. I also eat out a lot and I have more pictures of food on my phone than anything else.

One day I thought "Why not document it on Instagram?". That is when I started blogging on Instagram. I did a few brand collaborations on my blog recently and hoping to get similar opportunities in the future. I plan to start a YouTube channel in the near future.

Aim for the stars, and if you miss, you'll land in an outlandish concoction of flavours as a gastronaut, which is no bad thing in itself.
