Assignments” because that keeps you awake all the way. So, this is how we get classically conditioned for this product that is literally a cult now. Loaded with corporate competition, assignments and projects of different subjects, which have deadlines almost on the same day, these things demand a lot of time from us. But being residents of this beautiful blue planet only leaves us with just 24 hours a day, most of which get consumed by our hectic classes, which means we are left with only the second half of the day. So, we ought to learn how to control our timeline.
Yes, the management of time is directly proportional to the consumption of this delicious beverage. So, it means that we are always striving in a battle against our sweet slumber. Many of a time, we may lose it unless we keep this grand weapon ready. I think it is a major reason that keeps us away from wishing if there could be a few more hours added in a day.
But what starts as stimuli to not sleep becomes the very reason for brewing up with most magical memories in any college. Be it late night case discussions, meetings for clubs and committees or planning and monitoring during events, a cup of coffee is always a mood changer. It breaks the monotony that can definitely cloud our perspective especially when our brain constantly sends us a signal to go to bed. Suddenly, the meeting that became boring to us is refreshed by our off the track, funny discussions on diverse topics on a cup of coffee. Thereby marking the beginning of a culture where we bond, understand each other and find a great companion during this two-year-long journey.
After a while, it gets imbibed by us in our habit. Whenever I want to hang out with my friends, I would assure I get a cup of coffee and find a place with a view to sit. What next? Like most of my friends, I chose to sit in the balcony that captures the most amazing view of Khelgaon society where the IIM Ranchi hostel is located, and have the latté with my crazy friends.
Coffee somehow becomes our escape from the hustle and bustle of the hectic schedule of this college and gives us the moment where we can debate, discuss our crushes and understand our friends better. It is not just related to the relationships we have formed here but it is understanding who we truly are and discovering one’s own path leading to who we want to be!
