On the 29th of March, while working on a project in office and amidst the chaos on my mind; my phone beeped. The notification was regarding my admissions into one of India's most prestigious colleges'. And my heart definitely skipped a beat.
A few weeks before receiving the letter, I interviewed with various colleges all over India. One among them being XUB for admissions into XAHR for their MBA-HRM programme; and during the interview process itself, I mentally knew that this was going to be my new home, at least for the next 2 years.
For most CAT aspirants, without blinking an eyelid, IIM's would be the land to be. But in my case, things were a little different; and it was more about the sense of belonging which I felt towards the college after a genuine discussion with the interview panel consisting of XAHR's renowned and experienced faculty.
Another reason, that attracted me the most towards XAHR is that it is situated in the outskirts of the city. Hailing from Mumbai, amidst the fast-paced city life; I'd decided to take my admissions into a university that would ensure quality education along with peace, green and some O2. And that's what XAHR was for me; my escape from the real world into a world that would offer me a lot to learn along with experienced faculty, great infrastructure, and a lush green environment.
And as of today, all I hope for is to explore the unexplored and to be remembered tomorrow as someone who was a part of XAHR's legacy.

The ABG Company I would look forward to working for is Aditya Birla Fashion Retail. The reason being I feel most connected with brands like Louis Philippe, Peter England, Allen Solly and People. And being a part of this esteemed organization, especially a part of their HR team, would help me become the best human capital professional in the business sphere by creating outstanding benchmarks in the industry and would help me inspire others.
