Why Aditya Birla is big in my life? Aditya Birla is a brand which traverses through boundaries of Tastes, Income and Categories. My association with Aditya Birla started even when I didn’t know it was the parent company of the brands I so fondly loved. My first stipend as an intern back in 2013 was a mere 3000 Rupees and I on receiving that stipend, like an excited Teenager ran to my nearest forever21 store and gifted myself a bag. That was my first ever purchase from my own money. Cut to 2017 when I bagged my First Job with my Dream Company and my first ever Salary was spent buying gifts for myself and my family at ‘The Collective’. The smile on my father’s face when I bought him a watch is still something I cherish. ABG has provided me with my go to fashion brands, whether it’s going to pantaloons for a quick casual wear pick or barging into Louis Philippe looking for that perfect formal wear for my Dream Company Interview. During all this one thing remained constant – my loyalty with Aditya Birla Fashion.

How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?   Since Day 1 I was very sure of what motivated me in life and where I saw myself in the years to come. Being from a small city like Amritsar there was a lack of opportunities in further studies and job opportunities. The biggest challenge came when I wanted to move out of my house and my parents didn’t agree. It took a lot of convincing to finally make them agree. The next challenge came adjusting to new cities like Delhi and Bombay and adapting to that kind of lifestyle. The pressure was added by living alone in these cities and managing everything with academic as well as job responsibilities. The constant longing of home food and coming back home to family was something I craved every day. What kept me going in these times was the picture of where I wanted to see myself in the coming years. I am proud of where I have reached today and all these challenges have helped shape the person I am today.
