For 2 months internship, the company expects you to know the basic things which will help the candidate to grasp the company’s business. So for the preparation of interviews, I kept it very simple, e.g. comprehensive reading of the financial statements, knowing the various ratios as well as kept myself updated on the latest happenings in the business and finance world.
First year of MBA helped me a lot in my internship. At NMIMS, Bangalore subjects like Industrial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Strategy Management etc. along with the various activities conducted by in house Clubs and & Committees like learning of excel, tableau etc. helped me work fluently on the projects assigned at HTS

4 - Mention keys things on the balance sheet
Working with HTS was a great experience, wherein the company gave me the opportunity to apply my knowledge on the business problem and provide a probable solution to it. I also enhanced my knowledge on how a business with a lot of R&D works, how the cost are handled to keep the project profitable, essential keys areas to focus on in every project, measuring the scalability of the project after doing the market analysis.
My mentor at HTS was Mr. Purushottam Rao. He is the Finance Aero Leader having a powerhouse of knowledge in the field of aviation and finance. Working under Mr. Rao made me realize that in today’s world when people keep looking forward to changing the jobs in pursuit of incremental changes to salary there are still people who love their work and do it passionately and stick to a particular organization. Mr. Rao is a man of wisdom who prefers simplicity in his approach. Whenever we prepared a report or a presentation he always told us that prepare a report so that even a layman can understand it by looking at the contents, charts. In today’s world mentors like MR. Rao are required who nurture juniors and enhance the talent and provide them with the right guidance so that they are not lost in the pursuit of their dreams.
The working environment at HTS is extremely great, people here are helpful, they take out time from their busy schedules to clear your doubts and explaining the business which helped to complete the project with ease. Each and every project that was assigned had a two way gain, where the company benefited with our outcomes and on the other hand, I gained knowledge.
