The interview was held on the gather platform which gave it a sort of video game like feel. It was undoubtedly the most innovative B-School interview I gave.

P1: Please introduce yourself
A:  Gave the rehearsed answer about myself, my work, college, achievements etc. Also told about my other interests like blogging, travel etc.

Q). What is your blog about?
A: Told that it is a programming related blog about building stuff with code.

Q). What is AWS? What services does it offer?
A: Told about the cloud computing services, hosting etc. Also told other applications like rekognition, kendra etc.

Q). Are you earning off it?
A: Told

Q). What product methodology does your company follow?
A: Explained agile

Q). Can you tell me some positives about it?
A: Mentioned that it leads to better planning and goal setting and less wastage of resources.

Q). What is your role there?
A: Told

Q). What role are you targeting for post-MBA?
A: Gave a sort of generalized answer but also mentioned a bit about product management.

Q). Do you think your experience is enough for it?
A: Told them there are many product manager roles like APM etc among others which i can target.

Q). What is your favorite app?
A: Mentioned spotify

Q). Tell us one feature you would like to add to it?
A: Told that we could integrate song recognition(like shazam) into spotify

Q). What would be the benefit of that feature?
A: Mentioned how we can increase the no of time users increase the app and also how this gives leverage against competitors.

Q). Potential drawback of that feature and how would you tackle it?
A: Couldn’t think of any so just told the technological cost and expenses to create it. Costs would be covered in the due course of time due to increased revenue.

Q). Who’s the founder of spotify?
A: Didn’t know

Q). So your internship was in the autonomous vehicles domain, can you tell why it hasn’t been more accepted?
A: Told about the ethical dilemma of what happens in the case of an accident with an autonomous vehicle. Also explained that the current technology is not 100% fool proof.

Q). What are some front runners in this segment?
A: Mentioned the key players

Q). What extracurriculars have you done?
A: Told about my role as the head of a club in my college and also about our achievements as a team.

Q). Any questions for us?
A: Asked about how the pandemic has affected the professors and their teaching. Got a nice answer about how the pandemic has made it tough for the teachers as well.

Overall very chill interview, the panelists listened and nodded to all of the answers. Cross questioning was there but it was manageable.
Verdict: Converted in first list and joining :)
