International Management Institute hosted the National Alumni Meet, 2018, on 1
st December 2018, Saturday, on the institute campus located in Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi. It was a moment of re-living experiences, remembering the anecdotes, and laughing once again on the stories that the college campus walls spoke of in silence all this while. Our esteemed Alumni celebrated this event of homecoming by visiting the corridors and corners of the campus, meeting and greeting their mentors and faculties, and enjoying the event packed evening with their mates.
The Director-General of IMI, New Delhi, Dr. Himadri Das, welcomed the alumni back home, the evening began with the lighting of the lamp. Dr. Arvind Chaturvedi, Dean, Alumni Relations Committee, addressed the gathering and welcomed everyone to NAM'18. The event was full of surprises with nostalgia floating in the air. Many ex-IMIans shared their favourite campus nooks, they shared their classroom stories and the best hangout places around the corner.
Students had rich conversations with our esteemed alumni, the experienced ones threw light on the path for those who have just begun their journey in the corporate world, they gave them advice on career and education, and also shared secrets passing down the legacy of having the best time of their life on the college campus.
NAM'18 was loaded with fun and power packed performances, the audience laughed their heart out on the performance of our very favourite stand-up comedian, Mr. Gaurav Kapoor. It was followed by thrilling performances of InSync, The Dance Society of IMI, New Delhi, Zariya, The Dramatics Society of IMI, New Delhi, and Enthral, The music Society of IMI, New Delhi.
The 11
th edition of the Annual Alumni Magazine of IMI, New Delhi, Connexion18, was unveiled at the event, which brought about the success stories of alumni and the on-going development at IMI, New Delhi. The Institute also commemorated the silver and crystal jubilee of its batches on the NAM evening. NAM 2018 came to an end with echoing stories, passionate conversations, emotional portals to the past, and melodies on the karaoke set-up.
