National Institute of Industrial Engineering Mumbai (NITIE) is back with its amalgamation of Cultural, Sports and Business events, Avartan. This year it is being conducted from October 15th to 21st. This will be the 3rd edition of this extravaganza which began in 2013 to mark the silver jubilee of this reputed institution.

Lakshya Business Visionary Awards
NITIE felicitates dignitaries with “Lakshya Distinguished Leader Award” in recognition and appreciation to the epitomes of the industry who served in shaping the future of Indian Business landscape.

Prerana Business Meet
It is a conclave for the country’s most influential business leaders to discuss the current critical issues and their impact on the country’s economic and geopolitical growth.

NITIE plans to create a platform which aims to connect potential ventures & Start-ups to VCs, Investors and Angel. The key objective of this event is to provide a platform for fabulous entrepreneurs and experts. Funding worth Rs.100 million at stakes.
Arohan
The cultural fest under the umbrella of AVARTAN is the most awaited event among the B-school fraternity. AROHAN is a 3 day fun filled fiesta, where the students get to bring their creativity to the table in a wide variety of events. It sees huge participation from over 30+ top B-schools spread across 19 locations in India. Bollywood celebrities like Mr. Tigmanshu Dhulia and Mr. Nawazuddin Siddiqui have attended this event in the past.
Josh
It is one of the biggest B-school sporting extravaganza conducted over a period of three days. Participants across campuses from all the top institutes come together to showcase the killing instinct and sportsmanship spirit required in a manager. The event was graced in 2015 with by Shri Madan Lal, a World Cup winner, as he shared his experiences with the students to enhance their enthusiasm about sports and leadership skills.
Summer Project Contest (SPC)
NITIE launches an event where all the final year students will get to share the success stories of their summer internship. It will provide a platform to get the projects judged by the best minds of the country. SPC will be graced by top notch leaders and big shots in each module of the event.
Startup Expo
Startup Expo provides a platform for innovative startups from all over the country to get in touch with thousands of its potential customers and investors. It also provides an opportunity for the attendees to learn about the new entrepreneurial techniques that these startups have used to become successful in their journey
D'apprendre
The idea behind conducting D’apprendre is to build a scaffold where the young inquisitive brains interact with some of the gems from entrepreneurial world. Last year we had few entrepreneurs who gave inspiring sessions on their journey.
