 Why the Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?

I started working in my father’s firm after my graduation, and just like every other individual, I was excited to start working, learning, growing and of course the first salary. Coming to the salary part, I wanted to buy something for my father. I went to one of the nearest Peter England stores to buy clothes for him. The myriad collection of apparel fascinated me. The best part was I found everything I wanted to buy under one roof. The smile that Aditya Birla Group brought on my father’s face was priceless.

I went solo traveling for the first time to Coorg recently and the first thing that comes to one’s mind when we go for traveling is the network. We all worry whether our current service provider will work flawlessly in that place or if we will need to make proper arrangements. That being said when I reached Coorg my parents were worried and the powerful Vodafone-Idea network made it easy to connect with them despite Coorg being a hill station.

This is how Aditya Birla Group has played a big role in my life. We never realized the contributions made by the Aditya Birla Group to be so remarkable that it has impacted almost every Indian’s life in some way or the other.

My journey of overcoming challenges to achieve ambitions in life so far.

When I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, I had to drop out from my dream college and come back home. Watching everything I worked for slip through my fingers was devastating. But every cloud has a silver lining. I did my best to learn from this onerous experience. 

It taught me a lot about life, people, ambitions, and the most important, our body. The affliction did take away my opportunities to participate in many social and athletic events, but due to this, I got to know that through sheer will and perseverance one can navigate through any circumstance, however difficult or frustrating it may be. 

The trick that worked for me was being positive, hopeful and having the determination to accomplish the things I desired, overcome every obstacle along the way, regardless of any difficulty. One of the important lessons I learned was to talk to people, make connections, ask out for help instead of creating a huge turmoil inside oneself. 

The decision of doing MBA brought more challenges. Preparing for competitive exams and managing my health, which required a lot of attention, was difficult. A good and trusted company, no doubt made the journey easier for me and I am thankful to my friends and family for that. However, if one doesn’t work on oneself, achieving anything in life is difficult. 

I worked on myself, learned to manage work, studies and health side by side. Losing confidence and feeling defeated once in a while was there but the obsession, zeal, and passion pushed me through the obstacles and I reached Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB).

That is how I have achieved my ambitions in life so far.
