Being a student for major part of my life so far and having only few months of professional experience, most of my achievements are in my student life. One of the challenges I had a fear of speaking in public, which prevented me from voluntarily participating in any of the competitions held during school. Thus my short-term goal was to get rid of this fear and express myself in front of an audience. To achieve this goal, I had taken few measures like- I practiced many extempore in-front of my friends and classmates. I also tried speaking in-front of a mirror (as suggested by many) and lastly was to do a bit research on the topic I was going to speak or present to an audience. These practices helped me a lot as gaining my self-confidence and helped me to express confidently in-front of an audience. From being a silent listener to emceeing in college events the journey has been satisfactory and of great learning.
Another challenge I faced was to dealing with changes and quickly adapting to it. However, after joining MBA, and participating in various events and handling academics along with them taught me to multi task and made me more dynamic in nature. Gradually, I got used to changes and it became easy with the help and support of my colleagues. One important learning was that team work always helps achieve greater heights that individual work.
