No matter what, in life you have to overcome challenges to achieve your goals. One such goal of mine was to get selected into NMIMS Bengaluru and I had to overcome plenty of challenges to get admission into this college.
One such challenge was to clear the case discussion and personal interview. For that, I had to fly to Mumbai to give my interview. I remember it so vividly, I was sitting amongst other candidates in one of the lecture rooms and accidentally a fellow student dropped some food on my shirt. This was just what I needed (being sarcastic), already I had the pressure of facing an the people interviewing me and was already nervous about that, and now to think that I won't even have a nice clean shirt for the interview left me defeated. I had 0 confidence at that time to clear the interview. However, one faculty member, seeing how stressed I was in the washroom while trying to clean my shirt, came up to me and told me that there is a shop nearby that sells formal shirts. Without even giving it a second thought, I ran towards that shop which wasn't that far away. I quickly searched for a clean white shirt of my size and checked out, and within 10 minutes was back in the lecture room awaiting my turn. That student who had spilled food came upto me and apologised and quickly askedme how, in less than 10 minutes, I managed to clean my shirt. I told her that I had gone to a shop nearby and bought this shirt. She was impressed and made a remark saying," The quality of the shirt is so nice, which foreign brand is this." I laughed and told her that this wasn't foreign, but rather made by an Indian company - Adity Birla Group.
This just shows how you have to remain calm, composed and think on your feet when you are faced with a challenge. And along this challenge, as always, ABG was there to the rescue.
