Challenges I overcame to achieve my ambitions in life so far
My life has not seen much challenges, but yet I have had my fair share of experiences. My first such experience was when I was alone in Mumbai. I was living alone for my graduation in NMIMS. Away from family, this was my first time away from home and on my own. Responsible for myself and no one to instantly help me, I was facing the biggest situation of my life, my interviews for MBA admission. Nervous and alone, it was a time of crackdown for me. I had to do everything on my own and create a career defining moment for myself. This was a moment to prove to the world, my parents and most importantly myself that I am capable of taking care of myself and standing on my feet. A night before my NMIMS Bangalore interview, I take out my formals to iron them. It was late and I noticed that I don’t have my ties and shirt with me. It turns out I had left them back home the last time I had gone. Short of calling my friends and asking to borrow a shirt, I could not do anything. I tried calling friends but almost everyone was appearing for some interview or the other. Worried, I called my parents and they suggested I run and see if I can buy any shirts right now. I remembered there was pantaloons near my house. So, I rushed there without even thinking and to my luck I found the store open, just about to close. I tried on a few shirts and ties and finally made my selection. While making the payment I realized I did not carry my wallet. I requested the cashier to wait for 10 minutes and explained him the situation. I ran back home and came back to see that only the cashier was waiting for me to come and collect my items. I thanked him for his understanding and next day went for the interview. I got selected in NMIMS Bangalore.
Aditya Birla group was there to my rescue when all hope was lost.
