Aditya Birla Group touches our lives in so many ways, yet we remain so unaware about it. Aditya Birla Group has been part of our lives for over 16 decades. The group is working fantastically and has been successful in doing their work of making our experience more relaxed and comfortable. It remains present like air, hidden in plain sight doing their work tirelessly.  When I searched the products ABG has in its portfolio, I was shocked to see how one company caters to so many demands of our life. Not even a day passes when we don’t see ABG product. Starting from the Vodafone-Idea sim in my mobile to a Louis Phillippe in my closet, ABG has it all.  I was unaware of the fact that ABG has been a part of my life for so long, and now when I think of it, I admire it. The journey of Aditya Birla Group has been an interesting one. Seth Shiv Narayan Birla founded the group in 1857. A US $44.3 billion corporations, Aditya Birla Group, is in the league of FORTUNE 500. A conglomerate which has made India proud and currently employees nearly 1,20,000 employees and has about 130 manufacturing plants worldwide. It rightly justifies its vision, “To be a premium global conglomerate with a clear focus on each of the businesses.” The image reflects in the products ABG showcases in its portfolio. Having performed well for so many years, we can say without any doubt that ABG will reach greater heights and cross many more milestones. Challenges are what makes life more thrilling and help us grow as a person. They put us in a very uncomfortable zone and test our ability to perform outside our comfortable areas. For a person like me, challenges were fun until the time I was winning them.  As soon as I got into the bigger picture and started failing, I became terrified and succumbed to my comfort zone. After completing my high school, I moved to a premier commerce college studying with the brightest minds of East India. Until high school, I was the frog in the well arrogant about my achievements, not aware of the competition I was going to face. My college had a series of student activities for holistic development in students. I realized this as a tremendous growth opportunity and jumped to participate in every event I saw fit. But, I was intimidated by the sheer talent and competent of my fellow mates who seemingly excelled in every task. I faced a series of failures which led to doubting my abilities and questioning myself,” Am I good enough?”. That was a rough time for me, and I became very low-spirited. I was in the second year, and  I knew I had to change. The first task I needed to do was to increase my knowledge and understanding of the world, so I started reading books. Reading books exposed me to completely new ideas and different dimensions of thinking. I was never used to this type of thinking. I felt empowered, and the course of my life changed. I took it as a challenge to try different things in life. This helped me to learn more and helped me grow as a person. During my second year, I tried to learn as much as about the internet, domain, and hosting. Then, I started my blog. Owning and running a blog gave me a whole new practical learning experience. To test my ability, I went to a 6 hour long and dangerous Kheerganga trek. That trek taught me on various levels and showed me where my greatest fear lies. I am on a quest to know myself better. To satisfy my spiritual thirst, I tried the famous ten-day vipassana meditation. The course was the toughest thing I have ever did in my entire life.  During the course, I realized how restless and ignorant I am. The course was a blessing to me, and during the session, I received the most significant learning in my life. Challenges always make one a better person. It is part and parcel of life, and one should always strive to overcome it as these are the invisible teachers who help us to learn the subject of life.
