Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate, which has influenced the life of millions of people around the globe. The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. The group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. The group had a revenue of approximately US$44.3 billion in year 2018. It is the third-largest Indian private sector conglomerate.

The Group's non-ferrous metals' business is under Hindalco Industries. Its manufacturing locations are primarily in India and it owns mines in Great Sandy Desert, Australia near Nifty Airport called Birla Nifty Copper Operation (Nifty Copper Mine).
The Group's cement business was earlier under Grasim Industries and UltraTech Cement. The two entities have now been merged into UltraTech Cement to form India's largest cement company. UltraTech Cement was acquired from L&T in 2004.

Challenges are a part of everyone’s life and without ups and downs and challenges one cannot refine himself/herself in life. Challenges came in my path also when I was trying to get admissions in reputed and good colleges for my graduation and post-graduation. There is so intense competition everywhere that without standing out, you cannot make it to what you want to achieve. The various things I did in order to overcome challenges in life was stay focused and dedicated to whatever I wanted in my life. For these I welcomed adversity that is welcoming new changes in life, be it new learnings and modifying myself so that I learn different ways of doing new things and not following conventional paths. I also focused on the positives I gained and ignored all the negatives around me. Another important thing which I follow always is celebrate your success and take lessons from your mistakes. One can learn and improve so much if he/she learn from their mistakes in life. Celebrating small or big achievements gives you motivation to work hard and stay dedicated and committed towards your set objectives. One should always value opinions of parents and should always talk to them of where you are and where you want to go. My parents guided me in my difficult times of what should be my approach in a particular situation and what course of action should I follow. In order to overcome any challenge in life to plan a schedule which incorporates your objective. I am and was always determined in my hard times of performing good and achieving what I wanted to. failures should be taken as a lesson and not as demotivation. If one decides to overcome his/her challenge honestly then no problem is big or no challenge exists which cannot be cracked.
