Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programme or ABGLP launched in 2007, are currently offered at 5 levels- Group Internship Program (GIP), Lead Associate Program (LEAP),Leadership Program for the Experienced (LEAD),Human Resource Leadership Program (HRLP) and Finance Leadership Program(FLP). The programme aims at building versatile next-generation leaders through structured leadership programs that provide challenging opportunities across the varied businesses of the Group. At the core of this group are people who drive to make an impact, irrespective of the challenges they face with such initiatives. The program is tailor made to provide hands-on experience in positions of responsibility. The various accounts of participants have clearly showcased the benefits they have gained from program. It is indeed one of it’s kind. Similarly, I too had to face several challenges to reach this point in my life. One of the major challenges that I have had to face was my social anxiety. School had always been a safe space for me, I was with the people that I had grown up with, hence the issue never presented itself in my initial years. It first came to light when I had to appear for college interviews for my undergraduate studies. I wouldn’t have turned up for the interview if it wasn’t for my parents encouraging words. They asked me to my best and everything else would fall into place. I took a deep breath and went ahead with this in mind and it has stayed with me ever since. This resulted in me securing a place in one of the top ten undergraduate colleges of the Country. Here I was able to work on my social anxiety by being a part of various events and committees  and interacting with people. During my interviews for my MBA degree, I was able to deal with my social anxiety in a much better way and make it through TAPMI. I still have a long way to go in this regard but, I will never let it stop me from achieving my goals. Just like perseverance of the ABG led them to reach great heights, I hope to do so as well.
