Why Aditya Birla is important in my life?
The roots of the Aditya Birla Group go back to a century in pre independence era.Industrialists Ghanshyamdas Birla and Jamnalal Bajaj are known more for the trades they plied than for their roles in the freedom struggle. They had warrants issued against them and were imprisoned.This incident was inspiring to me as they created a sense of belonging towards our country. I am a big supporter of “Make in India” campaign and prefer buying products from Indian manufacturers .Moreover, the products of AGB are diversified and are of high quality.My own house is built using Ultra Tech cement. In terms of fashion, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, and Peter England are some of my favorite brands. As far as I can remember from my college days, I loved to wear clothes from all the Aditya Birla brands, I always preferred buying clothes from abof as compared to other online retailers. ABG has its root in the telecom industry as well. After switching to Idea network , I realized its the best service provider, the SMS packs and internet offers are the best in the industry. My family is also inclined towards Aditya Birla products. It has become a family tradition to have a life insurance policy from Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd , recently I also got one for myself. Also, I am an environment friendly person, thus I love the fact that in all the ABG stores jute and paper bags are provided instead of poly bags.
Challenge in my life and how I overcame them :
After CAT 2017 I was disappointed with my results as I worked really hard but my results were not as per my expectations.I just scored 78 percentile.I felt totally hopeless at that time.After that , I met TIME Institute mentor Belvi Sir, he has a very powerful impact in my life.He motivated me and bought the confidence which I lost. I decided to start afresh with the guidance of TIME faculty members, they were generous enough to take extra classes and mocks for me. I noticed a gradual increase of marks in my mocks, but my teachers did not let the over confidence dawn upon me. Finally, on the D Day I felt happy about my preparation and gave the exam with a cool mind. To my surprise, my CAT 2018 score was 94 percentile, I converted IIM Sambalpur, IIM Vishakapatnam, IIM Nagpur, XLRI Jamshedpur. But, my interest in analytics led me to join NMIMS Mumbai in the Centre of Excellence in Data Science and Analytics, This was my challenge from 78 percentile to 94 percentile which I successfully completed and will be proud throughout my life.
