Importance of travelling and unfolding new experiences can never be denied or trivialized. Exploring a place or a region is the perfect opportunity one can grab if he is looking for his holistic development. It gives you new experiences whether you visit a place first time or you are a frequent traveller. It teaches you how to manage your trip successfully with limited resources, time management, minute detailing and planning and ways to mitigate the crisis, if any. You come to know a lot about cultural practices, the beauty of nature, local cuisine and exchange some thoughts as well.

We, at IIM Trichy, are agree in totality with this thought, and we do venture out the places nearby. Let not your misconceptions about Tiruchirappalli be a hindrance to you, if you really think of exploring a rich cultural hub and natural beauty of this part of Incredible India. And believe me when I say it offers the wanderlusts more than they can chew during these two years.

Yes, I understand that we don’t get much time for this activity due to the academic rigour for which IIMs are famous, but this is one of the ways to gather knowledge and rejuvenate our lives to help brace for the rigidity of the next term.

This is an attempt to elaborate on one of the many reasons why IIM Trichy is special.

Without further ado, let us start our virtual journey to explore this rarely explored part of Incredible India. We hope the real journey you undertake will etch memories for a lifetime in your mind.
