Q1. What makes my campus unique? Faculty of Management Studies is located in the prime capital of the country, Delhi. It is at the heart of the prestigious Delhi University’s north campus. FMS is often referred to as the ‘Red Building of Dreams’, and it truly is, this one building is in essence run by the students it is made up of and that is exactly what makes it unique. We enter this one building, and we see that everything is co-existing in this small ecosystem, from student run bodies to the teaching staff to the management and administration. FMS gives a chance to the student to explore their true calling, and gives enough opportunities to explore them. That is why FMS is unique, because it is the red building of dreams, where each brick is laid by every student it has produced and every academician and industry leader it has hosted.   Q2. A memorable classroom experience in FMS FMS gives the creative freedom to its students to work on tasks at hand and one such exhilarating experience for me was one of the activities that were conducted by the Marketing Society. I come from a street theatre background, and the task at hand was to create a jingle for a house of brand that we were allotted. That particular activity was specially enriching for me because it took me back to my street theatre days. Constructing a jingle was a very smart and well thought of task because it pushed us not only to study the house of brand we were working on but also made us put our creative caps on. My team ended up performing best in that task, and that made it the most special classroom experience for me at FMS   Q3. Introducing some of my crazy classmates Komal: Komal Sahay comes from an engineering background (MNIT Jaipur) and is a strong and confident woman. She is also a trekking enthusiast. The striking feature about her is her willpower and determination. She had an accident in the past where she had undergone a surgery and was advised bed rest for long months, but she fought it out and pursued treks she had always dreamt of. She is a constant source of motivation and inspiration for all of us. Navneet: Navneet Kamal is a 25 years old engineer from IIT Kanpur and already has a book written and published under his name. He seems like a shy and reserved person but is a person to vouch for. He is the most helpful person one can find on campus. Shubhangi: Shubhangi Jain is a Commerce graduate from Hansraj College, DU. The differentiating thing about her is her hardworking nature, where she works on beast mode while teaching the rest of our batch basic accountancy. She is the perfect example of a humble human being and she comes with an additional interest and proficiency in French. She is only 21 but her motivation is enough to fuel all of us.   Srishti: Srishti is a 22-year-old engineer from IIT Kanpur. She hails from Patna and has a penchant for fine arts and interest in origami and trekking. She is humble enough to underplay her interest and is probably the sweetest person you’ll come across on campus. She is always smiling even under pressure and her attitude is goals for everyone.   Q4. Which ABG brand do you want to work for? I would love to be a part of Van Heusen in the Aditya Birla Group. ABG is one of the leading Indian House of brands and Van Heusen is particular stands for sophistication and comfort. Van Heusen since decades has been known for its quality apparel and style and has hundreds of loyal consumers to speak for the work it stands for. I personally love Van Heusen because my sense of style aligns with the firm’s products a lot when I look for women formals, and this sense of trust with the brand only grows with time. This is why I would like to join Van Heusen.
