Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is a part of Delhi University and it was established in 1954. It is one of the premiere B-school of India. The best part of FMS is the Return of Investment. The fee of the college is lowest among all the B-schools in India. This has led to limited resources and less infrastructure. So, we have grown to make an optimum utilization of resources. Since the establishment is so old, the alumni base of the college is too strong. Also, being a part of Delhi University, we are exposed to the culture of other colleges in North Campus. This makes my campus unique.
A memorable classroom experience in my B-school
The Induction process as a whole was an amazing experience. Our seniors gave us the feel of how hard an MBA life can be. The effort they had to put in to maintain the straight face was huge. We were put through a lot of stress and given unreal deadlines. Everything was a surprise for us during induction. On the final day, all the mysteries of induction process were unravelled. We saw how awesome our seniors were. We got the best fresher’s party.
Introducing - some of my crazy batchmates
Aditya Bhale:
He is an awesome singer. He has masters in Tabla. He earned the highest amount during the event of ‘Merchants of Delhi’.
Sparsh Gupta:
He is a CA in the batch. He is that one guy who keeps on asking all the doubts he can. At the end of the day, when people are desperate for the session to end, he will put forward another doubt agitating everyone.
Ashish Batra:
He is one person who is the most comfortable in their own skin. Before the induction process, he mailed the senior as “Hey bro!”. He likes to stand out.
Midhun Yazali:
He is the best dancer of our batch. He has been to the famous dance academy. He has performed numerous times in our induction and he always left people in awe.
Megha Gupta:
She is the girl who doesn’t care about anything. She is late for the class half the time. She sits on the last bench and every professor has noticed her for being careless.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I would like to work for ‘Idea’ in the telecom sector of ABG. The recent merger will now put idea in a great position to take on its competitors. I would like to be part of the company which makes a comeback in the market.
