“RISE ABOVE THE REST”
The Aditya Birla Group (ABG) was founded in the year 1857 and is one of oldest organization in India. It has its presence in various sectors of India for example, telecommunication, finance, insurance, clothing, chemicals, fertilizers, metals etc.
The one thing I like about Aditya Birla Group is that it provides a safe and secure future to its employees. They provide a safe and healthy working environment. They have a proper work life balance which is a must to ensure good health of the employees. ABG group has had an impact on my life since many years. Among the various brands owned by ABG, some of the brands that I have used are Allen Solly, Louis Philippe, and Pantaloons. Louis Philippe has been a part of my life since many years. I still remember the first time I bought a Louis Philippe product. As the tagline goes “RISE ABOVE THE REST” it made me stand out. It acts as a sign of prestige. I have used a lot of products in the market but nothing can compare with the quality of Louis Philippe products. It offers a large variety of products including Formals, Blazers, Casuals, Belts, cufflinks. The fabric provided by them is ultra-smooth and way too comfortable than other brands. The first brand that comes to mind, be it a regular outing or a formal meeting, is Louis Philippe.
I started training for badminton at the age of 10. After joining this sport, I missed out a lot of school activities and it was quite difficult for me to attend school every day because of hectic training sessions. So the option left out for me was to study at home, but I still represented the school for various tournaments to obtain concession for not attending school regularly. Initially the coaching took place at my hometown Satara but due to very little exposure and slow growth, my parents decided to move to Mumbai. It was always a major challenge for me to move to a completely new city but also to juggle between sports and studies as both were equally important. New city welcomes new competition and with that I had to train even harder. Finding my way around gruelling schedules, I had to focus on my academics and think of ways to maintain a balance. While playing badminton for many consecutive years, I have learned to always strive for success and never give up. That is the thing with elite level sports. As a sportsman, you learn to push yourself to the maximum, at times having faced serious potholes in your progression. There are sportsmen/women whose careers have been seriously derailed by injury, say, an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and has robbed them of months or years of playing time. Fortunately, I have not had to deal with any such crises, but observing my peers’, many of whom have suffered such unfortunate fates, gives me the motivation to put in those extra six yards, which will help me squeeze out the last ounce of talent and prove myself.
