We are back with another article on scholarships - this time, it is IIM Kozhikode!
No MBA aspirant is possibly stranger to the majestic IIM Kozhikode, which boasts of one of the most picturesque and oxygen-rich campuses in the country. In the recent summer placements, it attracted companies like ICICI, Goldman Sachs, American Express, CRISIL, Axis Bank, BCG, KPMG, Capgemini, TAS, Mahindra & Mahindra, ITC, Google, HUL, Marico, Microsoft, and so many more. IIM K Merit Scholarship
Eligibility - PGP-I and PGP-II students on the basis of their performance during one academic year, as determined by their CGPA.
Every one student among 20 students can avail this scholarship.
Amount - INR 25,000
IIM K Need-Based Financial Assistance
Amount - Depends on the annual total parental income for the previous financial year, as per the following income slabs.

Central Sector Scholarship for SC Students
This, again, depends on the annual parental income in the previous financial year, but the limit is raised to INR 4,50,000.
It covers tuition fee, other non-refundable charges, lodging & boarding charges, books & stationery charges, cost of IT equipment for the first year by means of reimbursement.
Number of scholarships allotted - 12 students.
Central Sector Scholarship for ST Students
This scholarship is awarded to students whose parents' annual income in the previous financial year is less than INR 4,50,000.
It covers tuition fee, other non-refundable charges, lodging & boarding charges, books & stationery charges, cost of IT equipment for the first year by means of reimbursement.
Number of scholarships allotted - 5 students.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
Eligibility - This scholarship is awarded to students belonging to minority communities. The total income of their parents in the previous financial year should not exceed INR 2,50,000.
Amount provided - Rather than paying a fixed amount, this scholarship scheme reimburses the full fee of the student, whatever the amount may be in the ongoing year.
Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship
Second-year students who are in the top 10% of their batch at the end of their first-year studies can receive this scholarship. However, they must not receive any other scholarship or financial assistance simultaneously.
Eligibility - Students who are in the top 15% of the batch are eligible for this scholarship.
Number of scholarships given - 5 students.
Amount - Ranges between INR 1,00,000 to 10,00,000.
Societe Generale Global Solution Centre India Scholarship
Students from the lowest income group are allowed to apply for this scholarship. They are required to submit a short write-up about themselves and give a personal interview.
Amount received - Full fee reimbursement.
Aditya Birla Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to academically strong students in the first year, and they can continue receiving it in the second year as well if they are among the top 25 students as per the CGPA for the first year. 1 or 2 students may receive this scholarship.
Amount received - INR 1,75,000 per year.
OPJEMS Scholarship
Top 20 students from the second year based on the CGPA of their first year are eligible to apply for this scholarship. They are required to clear a written test and sit for a personal interview. 1 or 2 students may receive this scholarship.
Amount received - INR 1,25,000.
