Challenges are a part and parcel of everybody’s life. Life is indeed difficult, our parents get older every passing day, loved ones get sick, your love life fails or you don’t get your dream college/job. I believe that if one hasn’t gone through adversities in life, he/she hasn’t tasted the real taste of life. Our ability to handle life's challenges is a measure of our strength of character. The most recent challenge that I faced in my life, towards the end of the year 2018, was a blend of personal and professional hardships. I was balancing my MBA entrance exams along with a banking job which as we all know eats up almost 12 hours of your day. During that phase, my father was diagnosed with an ailment that demanded immediate hospitalization. He was admitted the same day I had my CAT exam. Life looked meaningless at that point of time and there seemed no outcome of any efforts made. My priorities changed positions overnight and I felt aimless. But then I realized, this is how life is going to be. With utmost optimism I juggled books, medicines and targets. For all I know now that things eventually do fall in place and do make you go through a change. You come out as a stronger person. However, amongst all this, my ambition to pursue an MBA did not die, with double the conviction I bounced back for my preparations and SDA Bocconi Asia Center happened. Life is short, and nobody knows what's around the corner, but I'm up to hustle through it.
