Aditya Birla Group is an Indian Multinational Conglomerate which is headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India. Aditya Birla group majorly deals with non ferrous metals, Cement, Carbon Black, Textile, Fashion, Telecom, financial services, BPO and It Services. The roots of the Aditya Birla Group can be traced back to 1857 in the tiny village of Pilani, Rajasthan when Shiv Narayan Birla ventured into Cotton Trading. Today with operations across 35 Countries with more than 1, 20,000 employees worldwide and holds revenue of US$44.3 billion. The strength of Aditya Birla Group lies in the diversity of its people, their thoughts and their experiences. It has evolved by imbibing the five core values of Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Seamlessness and Speed. There is no market where Aditya Birla Group has not contributed be it in fashion, retail or E-Commerce, we all are kind of related to this Group. My favorite brand is Allen Solly and Forever 21 which is all operated by Birla group. I buy my father’s shirt majorly from Van Heusen and Peter England as these two are his favorite brands which belong to Birla Group. Ultra Tech Cement which has helped to build the most beautiful homes belongs to the Aditya Birla Group. So no one now can say that we don’t use a brand which does not belong to the Adiya Birla Group, its presence in our lives is really massive. Because of the brand Allen Solly which was launched in 1993 Indians were introduced to a new category of Clothes called Smart Casuals. Peter England was the largest selling Brand when started in 1997. Aditya Birla group has too gone through a lot of challenges but still is standing firm with all of its values acquired and will also continue to lead in future.
Challenges I faced in my life
Challenges are a part of life but it’s really important to keep moving and reach your goal no matter how difficult the situation might be. So my name is Shubhika I too had a really difficult challenge called Pressure which I had to overcome to reach my goal. I graduated last year but I took a year drop to prepare for my entrances side by side I used to work on different Internships. I used to study a lot, I used to go to coaching classes, used to give practice exams and I used to score really well. But then the D-Day arrived I was so stressed I was so in pressure that I could barely concentrate and hence due to pressure I underperformed. It took me days to recover from that and I had another exam almost after 12 days. I used to talk to more and more to people about it, to my friends my family and by talking to I realized were I went wrong, I worked on it. It took time but I became a whole lot of calm person then. And then when it came to another exam I performed my best. I learnt a lot from my own mistakes but I practiced more and more. It’s really important to overcome things which you never thought you could. Stay Motivated in every situation possible, if we stay positive then no challenge can stop us on reaching our goals.
