On the morning of 20th January 2018, as the sun rose, participants from 25 institutions from across India braced themselves for two days of heated debate on burning global issues, in true diplomatic fashion, with four UN councils – the General Assembly, the Continuous Crisis Committee, the Security Council and the Human Rights Council. Members from Accenture, IBM, BITS Pilani, Christ University, SIBM Pune to name a few were all set to battle it out
for SIBM-MUN of Revelation 2018 – the annual management and cultural fest of SIBM Bengaluru.
The event commenced at 9 A.M. sharp on the morning of 20th January and lasted till 6 P.M. in the evening. The delegates got a chance to gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the roles of UN representatives, members of other international bodies and national cabinets. It was an exciting opportunity for the participants to debate on issues that confront world leaders. The event saw huge participation from 90 young delegates. The competition was fierce and continued until the second day of the event on 21 st January, and lasted till 4 P.M. After a massive 2 day long heated debate, the Best Delegate award was presented to Arkadeep Pal, Anagh Shetty, Sarbajit Ghosh and Aaron Alvares of General Assembly, Security Council, Continuous Crisis Committee and Human Rights Council respectively.
Aether Infinium ended on a high note with 90 participants from across the country!
