I had my interview on 04 March 2022 8 AM. I received the interview details a week prior to the interview and interview link a day prior. SJMSOM interview was one of the most well organized interview I had. The Admission Committee was well prepared for the process.
The day started with logging in to Gather platform, a virtual meeting platform. We were assigned with the buddies to help us throughout the process. We were given brief instructions before the process and were asked wait in the gather waiting room for our interview turn. We had document verification while we were in the waiting room.
We were escorted to the interview hall by our buddy. The interview started with the warm greetings to the panel members. I was asked to introduce myself post which I was asked counter questions. The panel was friendly and made me comfortable during the interview. They asked me questions on my work experience and academics. My interview went well and we were asked to wait for the results.
In the end week of April, we were anxiously waiting for our results. We received an email from admission committee ensuring the tentative date of the result declaration. This gesture impressed me to the best.
The results were out in the first week of May. I was a bit disappointed for being wait-listed, but eventually converted in the later lists. The waitlists were released at 00:00 every Tuesday and adcom was quite punctual with the lists.
I am really happy and excited to have joined one of the prestigous institutes of the country!!
