Why ABG is big in my life?

Aditya , meaning sun in Hindu mythology, and so closely linked with the name of legendary leader ,Aditya Vikram Birla , clearly symbolizes the toil and hard work done by him to bring ABG to every corners of India and abroad.
Aditya Birla Group has changed from US $2 billion to $41 billion, from 8 countries to 36 countries, from 60,000 to 120,000 colleagues, from 8 nationalities to 42 nationalities, from an average age of 56 years to 36 years and from 0.4% women in the managerial cadre to 14% today. Who can forget the Birla house in Delhi , which marked the symbol of unity of Indian freedom fighters. ABG has 18 charitable hospitals which serve more than a million villagers. It has been a true nation hero in bringing smiles to millions of Indians.
The impact of products of ABG can be gauged by some startling facts .Every 3

nd cars in the world has Birla Carbon.The top fashion brands use ABG’ s fabrics.It sell 2 garments every second. Vodafone Idea is world’s 2
nd largest telecom operator. Aditya Birla Capital is one of the largest NBFC in India.
Besides , we have all used or been involved with ABG`s products on a daily basis ranging from agribusiness , cement, chemicals, e-commerce, mining, retail, textile and wind power. We all have a burning sun in us like ABG.
How I overcome challenges to achieve ambitions in my life so far?

The philosophy of my school is “Soaring High is My Nature”. Keeping in tandem with this energized motto, my teachers worked very hard towards focusing on diverse areas in realm of education and personality development. From School days, I imbibed the spirit and was able to overcome hurdles.
“I believed in hard work and rigorous application and picked up the workings of each department by actually attending to every nitty-gritty detail”- K. K. Birla.
During my under graduation (B.Tech.) at Delhi Technological University, teachers and other staff were very stern and ensured that students learn every details of practical as well as theoretical concepts. Internships at various organization and different societies of the college chiseled my personality further and finer. I learned to harmonize team work and gained confidence in organizing different function in adverse conditions. At Maruti Suzuki, my first work place, I had to interact with diverse people and work. Commuting office daily for 2 hours, preparing for MBA and looking after my ailing elderly parent was like walking a tight rope.It helped me overcome my fear when I represented my company in conferences along with Japanese people.I learned to manage and prioritize things. I could overcome these challenges as I had been tutored and trained well by my teachers, peers and parent. I got the employee of the month award (Dec`19) for managing multiple projects and meeting the deadlines well before time.Constant motivation, proper guidance, hard work and constant co-operation from all quarters were key factors in achieving my ambition of securing admission at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). I would again like to highlight the quote from which I began this article , to shine like a sun ,you need to burn like a sun.
