Ever since I was a little child, I was an extremely shy person and often got extremely nervous while talking to people. I used to stammer, and it often got so bad that I could not even speak to friends or relatives whom I had known for a long period of time. However, in the eighth grade, I met Mr. Satyaprakash who was my class teacher. After Mr. Satyaprakash saw I used to struggle to stand up and answer basic questions about the class work and how I used to struggle to speak coherently, he decided to help me speak with confidence. After many months of patient and often frustrating practice, I gradually started to speak with a reduced stammer and far more fluently. I also joined my school’s skit and drama group where we used to perform short stories which helped me speak in public as well. Gradually, I started to get better. After a year or so, I passed out of the eighth grade. Yet, I still used to meet Mr. Satyaprakash every week to work on my vocabulary and speech. After so long, I had grown extremely confident and had almost no trouble speaking fluent English. A few years down the line, in eleventh grade, I won an extempore competition held in my school. I was proud of my achievement, and it showed that I had come a long way. Communication is important, and I am glad I was able to remove all such barriers for it has helped me immensely in both my professional and personal life until today.
Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
It was a rainy Tuesday afternoon when I embarked on my way to shop for the new beginning in my life which was pursuing an MBA from IIFT. I was quite sure about my destination, the big corner store in the law garden area with Pantaloons written on the top. Despite there being the plethora of brands inside the store I had my eyes set only on the likes of Van Heusen, Allen Solly, and Peter England. I personally believe that wearing fashionable and well sought-after clothes makes me more charismatic and personable, and in turn, more confident. The Aditya Birla Group has been leaving its imprint on my life for a long time now. From using an Idea sim card day in and day out, to wearing a Louis Phillip suit in interviews, I have now realized that I have had a close relationship with Aditya Birla Group. Another product of the Aditya Birla Group that has, despite me not knowing played an important part in my life is Ultratech cement. A couple of years ago my family was constructing a house in my hometown of Jaipur. I remember sitting beside the house watching it under construction and looking at the large sacks of Ultratech cement. Over three years have passed but there have never been any issues with the construction quality of the house. The Aditya Birla Group has created products that have reshaped the way I steer through and enjoy life. It is hard for an Indian to imagine a life untouched by an ABG product.
