The smart ones ask when they don’t know. And sometimes when they do –Malcolm Forbes.
“Thinking about the answer won’t let you anywhere, its all about spending more and more time on the right set of questions” that’s what the answer company taught me in those amazing nine weeks.
Working in the strategy team of Thomson Reuters gave me one of the most memorable times of my life, the corporate culture and the openness amongst the team was something I cherished the most. From the ice breaking session on day one to bidding adieu on the last day I saw strangers turning to family. It was the team which made sure we never feel like just interns and but a part of them, that we meet all the influential personalities within the organization and that we too strive to turn into one in our journey.
Their way of doing work and approaching to a new problem, understanding a new industry from the scratch to coming up with strategic initiatives for the different divisions taught me altogether a different part of strategy making which I’ll always be grateful about and for me Thomson Reuters is the gold standard of learning and building lifelong relations.
