It has been a fabulous journey for us to progress from being a wild card entry to national qualifier of RPG Blizzard 2018. RPG Blizzard has been one of the most unique case study competitions that we have come across. We represented the house
Guardians of Galaxy and it was a completely new experience for me personally.
Different cases exposed us to various business units within the group & posed different challenges to us. However these challenges propelled us to relentlessly pursue them, delve into them and explore the possibilities to overcome them. We got an opportunity to ideate and make plans for a variety of industries ranging from infrastructure to electrical and electronics.
The most important part of the whole process was the journey that we went through. I represented “Star Lord” and used various quotes during the presentation. It was really impressive to see all the other team members in an avatar of the super hero they represented. The entire event was themed around the
Marvel universe and all the team members were the super heroes of the event. This gave me a completely different experience in terms of the way we think about different case study competitions.
One of the most memorable moment of the event was the speech by the group chairman “Harsh Goenka” where he gave us some tips to progress in our career. The event also provided us an opportunity to meet with fellow students from other institutes and listen to their ideas. During dinner, we also got an opportunity to have a conversation with the business heads of the RPG Group where we further discussed our approach and ideas and received their views on the same.
Although we didn’t win RPG Blizzard 2018, it was a great learning experience for us where we got an opportunity to present our ideas to the business heads, interacted with the brightest minds of the country and were mentored by the most experienced people in the organization.
