The story of Aditya Birla brand and its association with me and my family is nothing less than huge and I'm quite sure that it has touched every citizen in India, or whose family stays in India in some way or the other. Their vision and mission are to focus on each business, big or small with the same effort and passion and to deliver the best product and add value to society at large. It has a presence in a wide portfolio of industries starting from Agribusiness, Cement, Chemicals, Finance, Retail, Telecommunications to Textiles and many more. I can only continue writing pages after pages if I start with each and every moment where Aditya Birla has been associated with my life. To start with, I would like to take on pantaloons. As I was born in a middle-class family, we were used to shopping in local retail markets. It was hectic and tiring to roam around and get eventually get tired and end up choosing a one which was not the one which we liked especially. Then I heard of the pantaloons store opening in our vicinity and heard my friends visiting repeatedly to grab some cool clothes with good discounts. It was then, I decided to take my parents along with. What happened was a shopping spree, and it was not only for us, my mother bought clothes for nearly every member of the family. It was a transition into our buying experience from traditional brick and mortar retail to modern fashion retail store. Aditya Birla Group has made our life simpler. As management graduates, we should aim to achieve such milestones in our life, just like Aditya Birla Group has paved its way to success.

Life in a Nutshell

Life is full of uncertainties. I as an individual was always uncertain of my place in society. Starting out as a high school student I was convinced that I am meant for the gaming industry. Harnessing the latest technology to deliver the most impactful experience that keeps people entertained as brings a smile on people’s face, helping them come with the daily ritual of grinding for a living. As I entered undergrad, I took up Computer science with the intention of following up on my desire to do the aforementioned. B.Tech however, was not as expected. Coding was a very cyclic process and didn’t exactly unleash my creative flair. Disappointed, I decided to take some time off to try game development on my own to be sure about the path I wanted to pursue. Eventually I realised that this methodology of functioning did not live up to my expectation and that bureaucracy is prevalent in every industry and to reach a position where one could call the shots, further certifications would be required. My parents had a background in management, so I decided to Intern with my mother in Human resources and grew to like the domain. The perfect balance between logic, strategy and emotional intelligence is something that hooked me and thus I joined a HR management course to make the most out of the skillset that I believe I possess. And here I am, at a pivotal moment in my journey with the world as my oyster.
