Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life
Aditya Birla Group is the name I can relate to in my daily life easily, over any other company. Be it my daily clothing which I choose or the network which I use, somehow I come across to this brand. In terms of fashion, I look for Louis Phillipe or Van Heusen which are the most iconic brands in the fashion industry. Its premium design and feel factor is really good which makes it a perfect choice for the people amongst a different variety of brands in the market.
I still remember the advertisements of Idea, which were an eye catcher at that time. Its influence was deep and people used to talk about its ads as part of their conversations. I believe it’s one of the few telecom companies whose ads become viral at that time. ‘Walk when you talk’, ‘IIN University’, ‘Great Idea Sirji’ were some of them which I even remember and cherish today, and maybe I won’t be able to forget them in the future.
It’s not just the brands which I use directly. There are a lot of brands associated with Aditya Birla Group that I come across indirectly. Ultratech cement advertisements with yellow logo and ‘engineers’ choice’ tagline are deeply rooted in the minds of the people. Even if someone doesn’t know the parent company’s name, he/she can easily realise Aditya Birla Group’s influence by knowing the brands which the company owns.
I’m an avid reader of history and recently I read an article about Aditya Birla Group. That time I got to know that for how long it’s been in existence and how this company has driven our country’s growth. For all this, I would like to thank the group for giving us such an inspiring history at the time when India rose from the ground.
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far
For me, overcoming challenges was a huge task as I belong to a small town in Rajasthan where the quality of education is not so good. I realized that I have to do something in order to shape my future on my own. When I was in 12th, I didn’t have good teachers who could teach me in English, and because of this, I had to go to teachers who taught me in Hindi terminologies, which I translated with a dictionary at home. I struggled hard to fight for my success because I knew I can’t keep my growth stagnant. Fortunately, I scored good and went to Delhi University for my graduation. There, I knew that if I have to extract the maximum out of those three years. To strengthen my knowledge, I explored each and every opportunity which enhanced my knowledge and communication skills. I joined different cells in my college, volunteered for many activities of NGOs, participated in debates, and what not. During graduation, I planned my mind for MBA and started preparing briskly on it, with full efforts. Thankfully, my efforts didn’t go in vain and I landed up in NMIMS.
To overcome each and every challenge which I faced, I knew the strategy and applied it to the best of my efforts. To achieve ambitions, one has to identify his/her weak points and should learn how to overcome those things. Once you know where you need to work at, it becomes easy for you to apply your mind and strength together to achieve the most of the fortune in your life. At every step, I didn’t look behind. My optimistic attitude never let me down wherever I faced difficulties. Instead, it provided me with the power to hold myself from falling into the deep bottom.
