Since childhood, I have been passionate about automobiles be it bikes or cars. My love for automobiles leads me to choose mechanical engineering in Undergrad. Novelis a part of Aditya Birla Group is the primary supplier for aluminum for automobile chassis be it high-performance cars like Range Rover, Audi, BMW or be it affordable cars like Hyundai, Ford Novelis aluminum is present everywhere. Novelis aluminum is not just a supplier but they are collaborators and problem solvers, they work closely with automobile OEM’s and help them to build next-generation high-performance vehicles. With the rise of Electric vehicles, the need for Copper for motors, wiring harness would rise and Aditya Birla Group Hindalco industry is a renowned leader in Copper space.
First impression is the best impression and most of the impression is made by the observer based on how well you are dressed for the occasion. In situations like interview being at your best becomes even more important. I had to be dressed perfectly for my interview and I was out of good clothes I then visited Van Huesen store to purchase a Blazer and there I found a perfect one which fitted me perfectly and I purchased it. It was the day of the interview and I was one of the best-dressed candidates and that gave me the confidence to perform well and I was successfully able to crack the interview process.
“You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.” This quote had a profound impact on my life and I wanted to get out of my comfort zone to face challenges and make a better person out of myself. After undergoing training, I chose to be a part of Sales and Marketing division of my organization and I chose to be posted in Madhya Pradesh regional office. This was the first time I was venturing out of South India into a place where I had no friends or acquaintances. The challenge was even multiplied when I had to handle a team of more than 150 employees through managing Workshop heads whose experience equaled my age. Initially my ideas and suggestions were stifled considering my age and that the fact that I was an outsider and had no knowledge regarding the local consumer preferences and tastes. I felt I was being pushed to a corner and felt ignored and powerless. Then I had decided to take things into my hands and launched an initiative of promoting Hyundai servicer brand digitally and the response for this idea was overwhelming we were able to improve Facebook followers from 1500 to 18000+ in a span of 3 months. This was an eureka moment for me after this campaign I was being recognized by my colleagues and my ideas were given due diligence it required. From then I worked with 2x efforts and was able to among top 10 area managers in the zone and was top performing Area manager in my region.
