Aditya Birla Group is one of the biggest Indian groups that represent India on the global level. My life is always connected with Aditya Birla Group in one way or other. I remember during my school days my mother used to pack my food using fresh wrap aluminum foil to keep food fresh. When I entered college my dressing sense was too bad. But brands like peter England and Allen Solly made me look like a proper gentlemen. Since then I have always wore brands of ABG group and never had a second thought of changing to another brand. After completing final year in college, I went for a trip to Himachal Pradesh with my friends where we decided to wear same T-shirts of Louis Philippe for one full day and click pictures to keep memories forever. Today if there is a reason I see myself look professional would my choice of clothing. Open my wardrobe and you will find brands of only two shirts: Peter England and Allen Solly. The people which came across my daily life complemented me for the brand I endorsed. All these services provided by Aditya Birla Group have impacted my life directly or indirectly to ultimately lead a better life.
My life has always been a roller-coaster ride with ups and down. I remember it was in 2001, when there was an earthquake in Gujarat. I was in Kutch with my family as my father had a job there. Conditions got worse as there were continuous shock waves every day. So we along with other families made temporary tents and lived there for a few days till the situation subsided. This incident sensitized me to the power of nature and how we should not take it for granted. I made up my mind that whenever such problems arise, I will be there helping others. In 2012, just before the exams, I got diagnosed with jaundice and was hospitalized for a week. But I took some time during that phase for studies and somehow managed to get good result which became a base for me to get admission in finest engineering colleges. My biggest challenge came in 2013 when I joined college. I was a bit introvert and refrained speaking with others. Public speaking and communications skills were the qualities I lacked most. But then I worked on it by joining as a volunteer of a national level fiesta organized by the college which focused on improving interpersonal skills. I then worked as an organizer for a year where I went to different colleges propagating about the event and approached various companies for sponsorship. I finally went on to become the coordinator of the event in 2016. The four years of college completely transformed me to a more confident individual with a never give up mentality. I worked hard to overcome these challenges and this helped me to join IIFT Delhi which is one of the top B-Schools in India.
