Established in the year 1965 by the University of Mumbai in collaboration with Stanford Global School of Business, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is one of the top B-School in the country. JBIMS is not just a name it’s a legacy of more than 50 years. Getting into Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies was a dream came true.
The journey at JBIMS starts with a rigours induction which is the first acquaintance to what is expected from you in the journey. The crowd at JBIMS is diverse, from various industrial backgrounds. Although a majority of the batch consists of Engineers you’ll get to see different shades of personalities, people who cherish different forms of art as hobbies, Dancers, musicians, singers, painters, actors etc. JBIMS is a student-driven institute and various student bodies work together for better functioning of the institute and make the journey at JBIMS count. At Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, you’ll get to learn from the professors, industry stalwarts, people who are best at what they do. Free time is a luxury at JBIMS, your schedule is filled with lectures, guest lectures, pre-placement talks, projects, competitions, and assignments, and you’ll have a lot of these at JBIMS. JB doesn’t have a fix timetable, we get the schedule one day prior, and all day working barely leave you any time.
Despite this rigorous schedule, a student at JBIMS finds the time to relax. The location of JBIMS is unique you have everything you need within your reach, be it a place to chill, watch movies, shopping etc., and then there is marine drive, the favourite hangout place of Bajajites. Hostel for Bajajites is a whole another story. It is only available for a few of the students. You literally have to be a chosen one to get into the hostel. It is at walkable distance from the institute so you save a lot of time. Time management is one of the best things you get to learn at JBIMS. The institute provides a huge platform for its students to get into industry and company of their choice.
