Aditya Birla Group - Plays big role in life
Aditya Birla Group- an Indian multinational conglomerate operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. Aditya Birla has impacted the life of every Indian in one way or the other. The interaction started with Aditya Birla from the time when I was not even aware of it as a kid. From fertilizers for plants to aluminium of Hindalco has indirectly played role in my life.
The first cell phone for a 90’s kid is very special that too with the sim of some known telecom service provider. The cell phone in the age of landline has transformed the life of not only the youngster of country but also the kids of twentieth century. The first teenage gift from parents that too- a cell phone has plays an important role in life. The first idea sim in the cell phone with exciting packs has encouraged teenage to expand its horizon and connect with the world from anywhere and anytime.
Then as I grew up and started taking decisions about my dresses and shopping, without knowing the brands to which it belongs I developed the taste towards Allen Solly. Few days ago when I researched about various Aditya Birla Group’s brands then I realised that ABG is playing a big role not only in my life but also in the life of every individual. Since the time of independence, ABG being house of brands has impacted everyone in a big way and has expanded its horizons in different domains like from women fashion to men fashion, Alexandria Carbon Black to What an IDEA sirji.
Challenges are meant to be overcome to achieve ambitions in life
The girl just completed her school and excited to join B.Tech in the field least chosen by girls- Mechanical engineering having the ambition to go in the field of Robotics. But the college I joined had teams of only automobile-related competitions and don’t have any robotics-related neither the club nor the team to participate in robotics competitions. Then I researched various robotics competitions in India and came across ROBOCON- national robotics competition. But the main challenge was to search the people having a common interest. After a lot of challenges and struggles the team for Robocon was finalized. The team consists of electrical engineers, computer science engineers, and IT engineers. But the main challenge still persisted. The team doesn’t have the knowledge of how to construct the robot, how to perform coding for micro controllers, the design for the robot. By the help of primary and secondary research, the step by step approach has been identified and attended some training regarding pneumatic, micro controller coding and mechanical design for the manual robot. But the training and knowledge acquired in the short span of time were more theoretical and applicable to small robots rather than practical and big manual robots for competition. Still by more primary research, learning new skills we were able to gather a sufficient amount of knowledge to make a robot. Still, things were challenging enough since our robot was not much stiff and was less strong. On the day of travel from Delhi to Pune, some parts of robots were affected due to transportation issues. But then searching for the new parts in the new city was also difficult. But by the help of people around the city, we were able to participate in ROBOCON 2013 successfully.
