“The young generation is willing to experiment more. Firstly, they are less motivated by money and compensation, unlike the previous two generations. Secondly, integrity and governance are very important issues for them.” Said by Kumar Mangalam Birla.
As he said about the will to experiment, I too have experimented with a product of Aditya Birla Group. It was the sim of Idea, my first sim with which i have operated my first cell phone. I was in class 12
th in 2011 when I got it. Late night talks with my friends, the craze of text message at that time was too much. Even belong to that generation when the value of Monthly SMS pack was at its peak. Everyone has a special memory like any kind of mischief, or some secret activities done during their teenage with their first cell phone. I have a similar story as well. I used to live in hostel in 2011 and was very distressed by my warden. Somehow, I got all of my Warden’s number and started doing blank calls to them. The act included my friends as well. As I had the newest sim of Idea amongst all of us, my number was used to do the mischief. We used to do these activities with the warden who used to be in night duty and try to intervene their sleep. After some days I heard my wardens talking about this activity and they found that the number was same. They had also planned to launch a FIR over such issue. I communicated this to my friends and then we stopped. Now whenever we meet, we always have a hilarious conversation over this memory that was possible due to my sim of Idea. Thanks Aditya Birla Group for helping me in creating this wonderful moment.
The fear of public speaking, various articles has been written on it so far. But by reading those articles no one can ever overcome it. It can only be overcome by taking small steps. I did it on the same way. I used to practice my speeches in vacant class, Sometimes in front of my friends. Initially my word were also not clear, primarily due to tension. I started steadily with small speeches and initially received very harsh feedback from my classmates. Took it as a challenge and started speaking frequently during any class participation. Slowly the fear start diminishing and recently I made a speech on a abstract topic which was applauded by the people who was unknown to me. Thus it can be said that Thinking will not overcome fear but actions will....
