From the first pair of formal clothes to being my first telecom operator, From the aluminium foil that kept my food warm in school to the day to day jeans I wear, From the preferred choice of cement for my home to the preferred choice of insurance, Aditya Birla Group has always been a constant. I remember, the time when our house was under construction, everyone was in a dilemma about the brand of materials to be used, my father narrowed it down to ‘Ultratech Cement’ because it was the ‘The Engineer’s Choice’, the time when my mother had to buy insurance for herself, she went ahead with ‘Sunlife Insurance’ because it was a ‘Birla Product’, the time I had to select a telecom operator for myself, ‘idea’ was the first choice, it had the best network coverage with the most lucrative plans, the time my mother used ‘Freshwrapp’, a product of ‘Hindalco’, to wrap my food for school because she trusted in the hygiene value, the time I had to buy myself a pair of formal clothing for my campus placement interviews and the options were ‘Allen Solly’, ‘Peter England’, ‘Van Heusen’, all of which provided ready-made formal clothing or to go for unstitched clothing and the primary choice being ‘Grasim’. At that time, I didn’t know that all of these belonged to a single parent organization ‘Aditya Birla Group’, thus Aditya Birla Group has been touching lives and being a part of millions of lives without people even noticing it.

The biggest challenge I have faced was to prepare for CAT to get into my dream B-School and at the same time prepare for my last year of my B.Tech. The pressure was kind of similar when I had to prepare for JEE Mains exams and had my Higher Secondary exams at the same time but the only difference being that syllabus for the mains exam and the higher secondary exams are almost similar but in the other case CAT preparation and the engineering, exams are a world apart. Still, I was confident as earlier I had cleared my mains exam and got into an Engineering College of great reputation, similar expectations were laid on me by my parents and family, that this time too I would ace the exam and get into my dream B-School. All these expectations just added on to the pressure. The time was really crucial here, I had to divide my time accordingly for CAT preparation, for undergrad classes, and for undergrad project. The whole day, I had to attend college and it was only the nights which I had to myself for the preparation, spent countless sleepless nights for the preparation and in the end, came through all the difficulties, hard work paid off and aced my CAT exam. Got into my dream college – Indian Institute of Management Ranchi and at the same time aced my end semester exams, topped my class and even had a paper published for my research done in the undergrad project.
