The Aditya Birla Group has been a huge contributor to the Indian economy even before the nation gained independence from the British Empire. The conglomerate has been in existence since 1857 when the struggle for independence was running rife in the country.
The impact that Aditya Birla Group has had in contributing to our nation is unquestionable. Their involvement in our lives has been massive which is evident from the fact that their operations expand across 14 industry sectors. Personally, Idea has been my primary network carrier for over 10 years now. Louis Philippe, Allen Solly and Van Heusen have been the go-to formal wear brands for as long as I can remember. I remember having my lunchbox packed with Freshwrapp during my school days. Come to think of it, we are affected by Aditya Birla Group and its products everyday in some way or the other. I have been a regular customer of The Collective ever since it’s inception, for it brings together many sought after luxury brands under a single roof.
The Aditya Birla Group has been very active in their CSR initiatives. They support women in self-help groups to set up solar lamp assembly units, which provides solar lamps to children across schools, thereby illuminating their lives in places where the power supply is erratic. The group is also involved in the education sector. They provide education to over 40,000 students across the country in their 40-odd schools and feeding countless others.
It is really heart-warming to see a big conglomerate going out of their way to work for the upliftment of the poor and the needy across the country. Through their rich history spanning over 160 years, the Aditya Birla Group has been very successful in their motto – “Taking India to the World”. It’s time we did our part as well.
