Hailed as the castle on the hill, IIM Indore campus is known for its beautiful green scenery. The IIM Indore (IIMI) community co-exists in its ecosystem along with a wide array of flora and fauna. A trip around the campus will easily show that even mundane things that we see every day become beautiful when seen from a different perspective. This includes the breath-taking view of the sunset from the sunset point. The campus is home to a variety of bird species including peacock. Bird watching is done here regularly by enthusiastic students and professors wishing to learn and preserve the art.
A walk around the campus is the medicine for a stressed soul. Not just physically, the magical power and eerie silence of the campus heal even the emotional stress and bestows peace upon the pedestrian and rejuvenates the soul. The emphasis on co-existence is relentless and the institute doesn’t compromise on that. Amidst the forest-like places, interspersed are the residential buildings, and various amenities. People walking, jogging, strolling either in solitude or with a company is a frequent sight any time of the day and night.
With all of this said, I think one unique thing about the campus are its inhabitants. Known for its various educational programmes IIMI has approximately 2000 human beings living in the campus. Each one of them are benefitted in various ways from the nature’s gift that is the ecosystem in the campus. Apart from the green scenery, there are various basic support systems like a student-run shop, a professional departmental store venture and grocery vendor makes it a thriving community. With the infrastructure of the institute complementing nature, IIMI houses an Olympic full-size swimming pool and has conducted events for a few causes. There is a medical centre that operates round the clock.
With the academic courses offered and the combined expertise of the full-time professors here the load tends to be quite unbearable sometimes. But with the help of the thriving community of humans, animals and plants one can manage to get through this. Because it is the interplay and complementarity of the assortment in the choice of infrastructure that is unique about IIM Indore. Starting from a loner to a social animal, everyone can find sanctuary in this beautiful place called IIM Indore.
The seclusion from the urban centre ensures that the full effect of this community is realized.

Given a chance I would like to work for ABFRL. This is because ABFRL is the No.1 in Fashion Lifestyle in the country. Also, it has a very established network of retail stores and the distribution channel throughout the country. Personally, I have always been fascinated about the consumer behaviour especially in terms of brand perception and willingness to pay. ABFRL has a lot of avenues where in one can learn the above said aspects because of the variety of brands it carries and the customer base those brands have. It also gives a great chance for me to experiment with various models as ABFRL is also known for promoting business innovation.
