The continuous efforts of the Delhi based premiere B school, to keep the curriculum relevant, has paid off well as students of FORE are now a preferred lot for MNCs. Some of the names from the 100+ list of respectable organizations, which FORE can boast of, includes - HSBC, Bank of America, Michael Page International, Honeywell, Royal Bank of Scotland, Pitney Bowes, Deloitte, Thomas Cook, TNS Global, Continental Corporation, Accenture, Dun & Bradstreet, Dell, E&Y, Evalueserve, EXL, Fiserv, Franklin Templeton, Google, HP and HCL. The average placement offers in the past 2 years has been INR 8 lacs PA (20% offers above 10 lacs) while the highest was INR 39.5 lacs PA. “At FORE, we are driven by industry & employers’ demand. Curriculum is upgraded constantly in consultation with industry leaders and the approach to shape up our students are such that, the recruiters find them high on the fitment-quotient and they are better equipped for their respective job roles,” said Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director, FORE. Great deal of emphasis is given to the ‘International Immersion’ module, which is to familiarize the students with global policies and practices. The selection committee for GD&PI at FORE, comprises of 3 panelists, including one from the corporate sector.  “Fair chance to students is ensured and objectivity of evaluation is enhanced through multi member panel. Weightage given to CAT score is 40%, while rest of the 60% is distributed in - GD: 15%; PI: 20%; academics: 15% and work experience: 10 %. The criteria, however, is reviewed from time to time,” said, Prof. Neeraj Kumar, Executive Chairman-Admissions at FORE. “This stress on balancing the cognitive abilities, academics and emotional quotient, is another reason, why students of FORE are a preferred lot for the corporate” added Dr. Das, who was earlier associated with IIM Lucknow, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kozhikode. The applications for the admissions in the 24th Batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and 9th Batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management-International Business (PGDM-IB) for the upcoming 2015 session are open and can be applied online. The admission policy framework of FORE encourage diversity. Present batch is highly diverse in terms of gender (34% female students), academic background, and work experience. Unlike some IIMs, FORE doesn’t offer incentives based on gender but in order to encourage cultural diversity, a special weightage of 5% (over and above 100%) is offered to students from the 7 North-Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir and South India (namely Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Puduchery).
