When did you start preparation?
I started my preparations in August.
How did you start preparing?
I joined AB classes (a coaching institute in Raipur) to help me with the preparation. I used to solve class sheets and modules and revise what was taught in class daily.
Which was the most challenging section for you? How did you deal with it?
VARC was the most challenging section for me because I was unable to retain the information. So I started reading articles from various domains like History, Psychology, Economics, and others. I used to solve at least 2 reading comprehension daily.
Resources you would recommend to CAT aspirants (Books, Mock tests, anything else)
For Quant, I used Arihant's Qualitative Analysis by Sarvesh Kumar Verma.
For DILR and VARC class sheets and modules were enough.
I solved Mock tests from IMS, Test Funda, and TIME.
One piece of advice for future aspirants
I believe consistency is the key in CAT's preparation. So practice regularly and give as many mock tests as you can. It helps you to strategize and identify the easy questions. CAT is all about solving easy questions given the time constraint.
