I am Y Naveen Krishna, GEM with 10 months of work experience in the IT Domain. I have secured a 99.07 Percentile in CAT’21 and got shortlisted for an Interview at SJMSOM. My Interview is on 06th March 2022, slot 2.
Since I got passed out in 2021 i.e. after covid, all the interviews that I gave were conducted virtually. Among all the Interviews that I have appeared for, the SJMSOM interview is my best experience, not because of the questions it is because of the platform Gather on which interviews were conducted.
Gather is a platform where an organisation can set up virtual meetings with a 2D map and avatars, Whenever you join the meeting you have to choose your avatar and the 2D map of the organisation or institution is present and we can move over the map using arrow keys.

After joining the meeting using the Gather platform, An Overview session about the course is conducted and students are asked to wait in the Auditorium(Virtual Auditorium).
The interview process has 2 steps: Document Verification and Personal Interview.
Personal Interview:
3 Panelists. 1M (25-30 years) 2F (30-40 years)
My Interview started with Questions about my Work Experience:
1. Brief about my role in the company?
2. What is Robotic Process Automation? (My domain in work)
3. Applications of RPA and Artificial Intelligence in the Real-world?
Later, I got tested on my Technical Background (ECE)
1. What is Step-up Transformer?
2. What is an Amplifier and where it is used?
3. Ring Counter?
4. Types of Counters?
After technical questions, one of the panellists took over and asked about my native place. And asked about current trending movies in my native language that got national wide recognition. I gave the answer as Pushpa and the panellist asked me why it has been such a huge success. Answered my opinions and later she asked my opinions on the business and ethical perspective of the movie.
Finally, the last panellist took over and asked about my hobbies.
I answered cooking, She asked me to say about the recent challenge in social media that is based on Cooking.
Later questions were on current affairs:
1. Who is the chief minister of AP? (Since I am from AP)
2. Share of Farming in GDP of AP?
3. Irrigational sources in AP?
After I answered all the questions with reasoning. I have been asked to leave the meeting.
Result: Initially waitlisted and eventually got admission
