From cement to clothes, from money to mobile communication, Aditya Birla Group isn’t just about numbers, but is also about touching every corner of the common man’s life. ABG sure is making big revenues, US$44.3 billion (in 2018), to be precise, but it is big in my life due to Pantaloons Fashion & Retail! Pantaloons has been a part of my life for over 15 years now. I still vividly remember my first visit to pantaloons. I had gone to lifestyle store at High Street Phoenix, Mumbai with my parents and boy, I was stunned! My little eyes hadn’t seen so many clothes of all colours and sizes, under one roof! Never! I wanted to try everything that my eyes could see. I wanted to grow up quickly, within 2 minutes to be precise, and try every trendy thing in women’s section. I must have tried at least 10 different styles of clothes and I wanted them all! Obviously, my humble background didn’t find it feasible at that time. But since then, there was no turning back and the fashionista in me woke up to never sleep. Me and my mom would indulge in shopping sprees at our very favourite pantaloons and would sometimes take my dad along too. Even a random-dresser like my dad would find something that grabs his heart. The most important thing about pantaloons is that it is affordable for the whole family and all of us get the latest fashion, according to our taste.  Now with the advent of many brands, the Pantaloons stores give me a ride of nostalgia, every time I pass through its glass doors. I see a little girl entering the door with big, starry eyes, not expecting to see the wide variety that the store has to offer and never going back to being just a simple girl.
