Born in the city of Kolkata in 1992 to a Bengali family, brought up in the ecosystem of Aditya Birla Group. “Home sweet home”, my favourite place on earth is a 75 years old building is still standing strong. Coincidentally, Aditya Birla Group is the reason why it is and will be standing tall for years to come.
My Festival of festivals, Durga Puja was incomplete without a bunch of new Allen Solly Sports chinos and shirts in my closet.
Fast forward 23 years, I was sitting in an office at Bangalore, 1800kms away from my home, away from my parents for my first job interview yet Aditya Birla Group was with me. I still remember that lucky pair of formals, the blue Van Heusen shirt, Grey Van Heusen Trouser and black Van Heusen Tie.
My first job interview was the last job interview I had after completing my bachelor’s degree. Bangalore was my second hometown from June 2015 till June 2019. Although out these four years, I had been to a lot of places in and around Bangalore, ordered food online innumerable times, stayed connected to my family, friends 24*7, thanks to Vodafone Super Net 4G and its network connectivity.
Post-independence, It all started with Grasim Industries Limited from Aditya Birla Group. The company was formed on 25
th August,1947 to manufacture textiles from imported raw materials only to become the supremo in viscose staple fibre globally. ABG revolutionized the insurance industry with a wide range of offers, to connecting the people in India with their strong Vodafone Idea connectivity, to fast connecting East and West Mumbai with a state of art structure in form of the Sea Link. While writing this article, I realize how ABG is intricately attached to each and every citizen of the country without them realizing it.
