From his garments to being his mobile service provider to the foil used to preserve his food to the cement used to build his home to being his investor for mutual funds to being his medical insurance provider to being the tire manufacturer of his car to the paint in his house and the list goes endless, this is how the so-called Mr. Philippe and Aditya Birla Group are co-related. Mr. Philippe has his life surrounded by Aditya Birla Group’s products and he associates the name with his day to day routine. From being the driver to the most important thing of his life which was the mobile phone, without Vodafone Idea Limited his life would have come to a halt. Connections are made so simple and the best part about it is be it any part of the travel that Mr. Philippe makes, he always was in touch with his peers. Being thankful to the service provided when being a small kid of school and he was struck in the heavy rains on 26th July 2005 with his friends who were on the way back home from a school educational trip, no other provider had the network, but luckily little Mr. Philippe’s Idea had network where his worried parents were given the knowledge about his whereabouts and the network turned out to be a life savior. On the very same day, hungry Mr. Philippe was served with fresh food that his mother had packed earlier that morning, thanks to the Freshwrapp, that he was able to enjoy his mother’s food as fresh as it was even after 12 hours of it being packed. One fine day Mr. Philippe’s father had an Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance person visiting them at home as he wanted to invest into Aditya Birla’s Children’s Future Solutions, young kid asked the person, “Why do you want us to choose you?” and “ We are here with you always and not only until you pay me” is what he got as an answer. That’s what struck him and stays with him till date where he understood what customer service and after sales meant. That’s where he understood that for a company for whom customers are important is bound to succeed. “Making products Stronger, Lighter and Long Lasting” is what they not only claimed but also fulfilled is what Mr. Philippe realized as he started using more and more products of the group. From his school days, Mr. Philippe was very fond of a brand Louis Philippe and from top to bottom he was always covered with Louis Philippe stuff and hence the name “Mr. Philippe” was what his friends called him and he enjoyed it as Louis Philippe had everything that he needed in store for him. From school to college the trends didn’t change for Mr. Philippe and his friends still continued to call him by that name as they didn’t see any other piece of cloth on him ever. Which is by far obvious that Mr. Philippe who has been referred to is me. In total agreement with the group’s mission, “To deliver superior value to our customers, shareholders, employees, and society at large”, I have always been thankful to Aditya Birla Group for making India a better place to live.
